BIOGRAPHY
1986
Born in Hong Kong

Born in 1986, Hong Kong Based Artist Ngai Wing Lam graduated with a BA from Hong Kong Baptist University Academy of Visual Arts in 2008. LAM primarily works in oil painting, the stories of her character “Fish Man” are inspired by scenes of her dreams and her daily surroundings, with Hong Kong landscape as her work’s primary setting. Participated solo exhibitions include ‘No Dreams Can Last Longer Than A Night’  (Gallery EXIT, Hong Kong, 2023), ‘Searching for A Lost Soul’ (Touch Gallery, Hong Kong, 2022), Recent group exhibition include ‘Let’s Try Catching Steam with Bare Hands’ (Gallery EXIT, Hong Kong, 2022), ‘Shining Moment’  (TANG Art Foundation, Hong Kong, 2021), ‘WWF Hong Kong - Tales of the Ocean’ (Gallery by the Harbour, Hong Kong, 2020),  ‘Every Tuesday’ (Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre L614, Hong Kong, 2018), and ‘The Voyage of the Beagle’ (WINWIN ART, Pier-2 Art Center, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, 2017).  The artist current lives and works in Hong Kong.
