BIOGRAPHY Born in Hong Kong 2012 BA in Fine Arts from The Chinese University of Hong Kong Kwong Wing Kwan is a Hong Kong based visual artist whose practice is primarily painting. Her works capture mundane views and everyday life details, such as sunrise, moving clouds and mountains, which are seen as the reflection of her inner world. Drawing inspirations from her personal experience, her picturesque works subtly illustrate the subject of life and death, past and present, inner and outer worlds through depicting seemingly calm sceneries. Kwong received her Bachelor of Art in Fine Arts from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2012. In the same year, she was the recipient of Grotto Fine Art Award and Culture Corner Art Academy Fine Arts Award, both awarded by The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She participated in solo exhibitions including Good morning, sweet dreams (Gallery EXIT, Hong Kong, 2021); Suspending World (Artify Gallery, Hong Kong, 2014) Clear-air Turbulence (Grotto Fine Art, Hong Kong, 2013). Group exhibitions include Grotto 20th Anniversary (Grotto Fine Art, Hong Kong, 2021); In/outward (Link Gallery, Beijing, 2017); ART MO International Art Fair (The Venetian Macao Cotai Expo, Macau, 2014); Art Nova 100 (Touring exhibition sites, China, 2014).
