Trevor YEUNG  楊沛鏗

Trevor Yeung (b. 1988) is an emerging Hong Kong artist. He is known for his distinctive use of natural animal or plant bodies as metaphors, referencing the emancipation of everyday aspirations towards human relationships. YEUNG often projects the emotional and intellectual imaginations on the biological substituts with a full acceptance of the nature in his artworks. He creates the worlds with their own logics. The dramatic scenarios created in fact intimately connect to YEUNG's own experiences from the human world. YEUNG's motivation comes from his various inner conflicts. The expereinces of failures and imperfections are the artist's main driving force in creating artworks.
